Galleries are organized by mountain ranges, mainly around Monterrey or Saltillo, except for first, second and both last sections:
The first one is the reunion of panoramics pictures throughout these mountains, the next are black and white pictures, and the two last sections is the collection of animals, especially dogs I have found on the path, sometimes, they helped me to reach the summits...

Cerro de las Mitras is my favoutite. Easy to recognise with it miters shape, I would say dinausaur back when one come from Saltillo road, is located on the west side of Monterrey. It's a small mountain surrounded by the city. The views from the summit are wonderfull. One can see Monterrey north side and Santa Catarina on the south, but the most amazing views are the others closest summits of this same mountain.
Amoung the 14 summits, only 7 are known and it's a mystery for the others. All of the known summits are difficult to reach (I won't speak about the unknown..): climbing, cave crossing and the sun: a good knowledge of the site is required to go there. This mountain was also a mine site on the lasts centuries.
Remains of the mining activities stay engraved on the rocks, giving a strange emotion of this past time. Mitras is so close but so misterious, maybe that's the reason why it's my favourite...

Cerro de Fraile, located north of Monterrey back to Garcia is a tourism destination with its beautiful caves, las Grutas de Garcia, located at the entrance. More inside, several trails to the summits and offers fantastic views of this range, especially to the Cabeza del Sapo, the highest peak of Fraile.
